Affinity Groups are regularly scheduled gatherings around a particular interest area. Participants share best practices, challenges, opportunities, solutions, and learn about innovate approaches. These groups also have the opportunity to shape HDC's policy positions and advocacy priorities as appropriate.

Some groups meet on a regular basis, others as needed. You can view a calendar here.

Do I need to be an HDC member to participate in an affinity group, peer group, or task force?
Yes. However, we do on occasion welcome prospective members to sit in on group session. Contact the staff liaison if you are interested in this option.

How will I receive communications about group meetings and events?
By email, so make sure your email settings don't send HDC emails to SPAM!

How many groups can I join?
As many as your schedule allows! There is no cap on attendance and our groups welcome new members.
