Support Additional Neighborhood Centers in Seattle's Comprehensive Plan
Seattle’s Comprehensive Plan sets the foundation for how our city grows. The Complete Communities Coalition is working to improve the proposed plan, with eight new neighborhood centers in areas ready to welcome more neighbors.
Neighborhood centers are small, walkable hubs that make it easier for people to live near businesses, amenities, childcare, transit, groceries, and parks—without having to drive for every daily need. By adding more of them, we can expand access to housing and opportunity in every part of the city.
Our proposed additional Neighborhood Centers include: Alki, Broadview, Dawson, Gasworks, Loyal Heights, Nickerson–South Canal, Roanoke Park, and South Wedgwood. These areas are already well-served by transit, and are near schools, parks, and local businesses. See our map of these areas here.
